We’re on a tight weekly budget now and always choose the payment plans where we spend the least – at least when we have a choice. I didn’t understand why my local florist wouldn’t accept my MasterCard until she explained it to me. And the worst part about it is that these high fees raise the cost of goods and services for all consumers whether they pay with plastic or cash. So even if you don’t have a credit card because, for example, you can’t afford one, you pay anyway. It just doesn’t seem fair.
